Our Family Serving Your Family – The funeral profession is changing dramatically and most people are not even aware of it. Large multi-national corporations own over 90% of the funeral homes in Central Florida. These firms still have the same names of their former owners but they are no longer locally owned and operated. The funeral directors that work in these businesses are answerable to a board of directors and ultimately the stockholders as they are publicly held corporations. We are a family owned firm and are therefore answerable to the families we serve and the community at large. We live and work in this community and have a stake in the economy and well being of its citizens.

Family Owned & Operated Since 1983 – Dove began in 1983 as a funeral shipping business that also provided direct cremations to the general public. It operated in an office in the same building as a flower shop.

By 1993, the business had grown to the point of needing a larger space; with more versatility. The business was moved, at that time, to 4310 Curry Ford Road. We added a chapel in order to accommodate the need for cremation services and low cost funeral services. We have recently added a repose room in response to our growing number of visitations and memorial services. We have never advertised except for the yellow pages. Our business has strictly grown from word of mouth and satisfied families. We believe our business was conceived by public demand. Our slogan is: “100% of the service at 40% less cost”.
